General Labourers/trade Assistants

Meka Recruitment are working with a number of leading companies and builders in the construction sector all over Brisbane. They are requiring reliable General Labourers/Trade Assistants that are keen to work and can start as soon as possible. All the work is ongoing that could lead to a full time role for the right person.

You will be assisting carpenters and making sure that the site is clean and tidy.

The ideal person will:

- Have a Construction White Card
- Have correct PPE gear - high vis shirt, hard hat, and steel cap boots
- Will be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs
- Able to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of power tools would be an advantage
- Previous labouring experience would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Strong sense of safety

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
