Enrolled Nurse/technician Trainee

Bayside Heart is looking for an enrolled nurse or uni student currently studying science based course to perform ECG's, fit Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitors to patients. Experience not essential as full training and support will be provided but excellent customer service and confidence using multiple software programs would be highly regarded.
We are looking for confident and effective communicators with excellent computer skills who are organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to think laterally.
Days of work currently are Monday AM and Wednesday PM: 4-5 hours per day
Tasks involved in the roles include:
- Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Programming monitors and uploading results for reporting
- Explaining tests to patients and ensuring they are informed and put at ease
- Follow 3 point patient identification process
- Perform ECG's and fit monitors to patients
- Maintaining patient & practice confidentiality
- Cleaning/disinfecting equipment between patients
- Ensure maintenance of accurate and current patient records
- Some administrative tasks such as scheduling and confirming of appointments
- Other tasks as directed by manager
