Ready to lead a major reform initiative and develop and implement innovative systems and products? We’re seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to drive the Government’s reform of the driver training industry, from IT solutions to legislative changes.

**The Opportunity**
The Regulation Directorate sits within the Transport Policy and Regulation Division and is responsible for driving the Government’s regulation and policy initiatives and ensuring appropriate compliance, behaviour and safe access across our transport networks.

**About You**

You will bring proven experience in managing complex projects and delivering them on time. Your ability to lead under broad direction, act with urgency and effectively manage change and risk, coupled with your expertise in innovative solutions and problem-solving, will be key to success in this role.

You’ll need to demonstrate excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, high-level analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and risks. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely and tailored to your audience.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which is required to be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 2 years

**Remuneration**
ASO8 - $119,317 to $123,822 per annum
