Esl Teacher

**About us**

We're an ELICOS provider currently providing GE delivery. We're looking for experienced classroom teachers to teach their own class or co-teach a class.

- Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a 1-to-1 video interview.

**Job details**
- On-campus teaching
- Classroom teaching (no private students or small groups)
- Adult students
- Morning class: 5hrs per day, 4 days per week (Tue-Fri). 08:30-14:00 schedule, with an unpaid 15-min tea break and 30-min lunch break.
- Evening class: 4hrs per day, 5 days per week (Mon-Fri). 17:30-21:45, with an unpaid 15-min dinner break.
- Classroom resources and teacher support provided.

**Required certification**
- CELTA certification, or TESOL certification (level 4 or above)
- Bachelor Degree (Arts and Language fields preferred)

**Preferred experience and skills**
- _Recent CELTA graduates are welcome to apply._
- At least 2 years' ESL experience
- Experience teaching classes of 15-20 students
- Ability to manage face-to-face and online students simultaneously
- Computer literacy; especially troubleshooting skills
- Competency using Google Workspace apps

**Payment amount and frequency**
- We pay to the MA000075 award (your specific level is based on further review of your resume).
- Payment processed fortnightly
- Unpaid onboarding process

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $52.86 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pyrmont, NSW 2009: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
