**About the role**

Reporting to the Group Remunerations and Benefits Manager, you will work closely with teams across human resources, IT, business systems and finance. You will be accountable for the effective and efficient provision of payroll services while supervising and supporting the payroll team.

**About you**

We are seeking an experienced and driven payroll specialist to join the team at their Eastwood office on a permanent full-time basis. With payroll knowledge and experience gained in a large, complex commercial environment, this role will suit someone with sound problem-solving, planning, analytical and organisational skills.

You will present with a high level of customer service and have strong communication skills to share ideas, present information and provide clear and concise material.

In addition, ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience supervising a team to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Experience interpreting company policies, procedures and relevant industrial awards or Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience with SAP HR / Payroll Systems is desirable.
- A demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and adhere to deadlines.
- Tact and discretion when dealing with people and confidential information.
- skills with vast experience in maintaining and reporting on information.
- Demonstrated success in identifying performance outcomes, prioritising and organising work to achieve objectives and ensure deadlines are met within tight timeframes often with competing priorities.
- Experience updating and maintaining information associated with HRIS / payroll system position management.
- Proven success in supervising, training, motivating, coaching and assessing the performance of staff.
