**What you will be doing**
This is a fixed term part time position is as a Consultant Intensivist and Education co-ordinator at the Frankston Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Principal objective of this fixed term role is to strengthen, further develop, implement and co-ordinate clinical education programme that meets needs of all levels of junior medical staff employed or rotating through Department of Intensive Care at Peninsula Health. Fixed term for this role should be utilised to establish education programme at Intensive Care, Peninsula Health.
The Senior Medical clinician delivers safe, evidence-based person centred care to a defined group of patients and clients within their scope of practice. As part of multidisciplinary leadership team, senior medical staff supervise, mentor and support Registrars, Hospital Medical Officers (HMOs), Medical officers, Senior Medical Officers, medical students and their allocated patients.

**What You Need**
- Medical Practitioner Registered in Australia.
- Fellow of The College of Intensive Care Medicine.
- Relevant track record and experience in the treatment of critically ill patients as well as development and conduct of education programme.
- Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medical and evidence based practice.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Patient safety and quality review knowledge and skills
