Jefferies is a boutique provedore located in Croydon Hills and pride ourselves on stocking a range of both local and niche products that cannot be sourced everywhere.

In this role, you’ll partner with the store manager in leading the store daily, from assisting with merchandising and product launches to helping others meet and exceed sales objectives. You won’t be in this alone we offer amazing training experiences that will set you up for leadership success. You’ll gain valuable experience coaching and encouraging your team to give our customers personal experiences that count.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of the store.
- Provide direction and guidance to grocery staff in their assigned job duties.
- Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
- Provide excellent customer service for sales growth.
- Develop a positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
- The ability to analyze data for ordering to avoid overstock and low stock.
- Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products at all times.
- Ensure that the product prices are properly priced & labeled.
- Assist in recruiting and training staff.
- Assign daily workload and schedules to your team.
- Merchandise Products according to the merchandising standards.
- Maintain the store's cleanliness, safety and appearance at the highest standard.
- Develop process improvements to maximize the efficiency of work, sales and profitability.
- Be able to handle customer queries and complaints quickly & efficiently.
- Be aware & take appropriate action with stock rotation/storage & deleted lines.
- Maintain equipment in good working order.
- Ensure standards are maintained in line with business policies and procedures.
- Ensure all food handling and hygiene policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Organise promotions & new lines via talking to company representatives.

Availability:

- The role will be full-time with a Sunday to Thursday Roster between the hours of 7 am-9 pm.
