**Render Operator - Night shift**

JBS Australia is a customer focused, innovative and efficient meat based food processing and distribution Company committed to the highest quality assurance and food safety control measures. Beef City is one of JBS sites located at Toowoomba / Darling Downs area.

Beef City Processing Plant is currently recruiting for a Render Operator at the Beef City Processing Plant. Beef City is located 35 km west of Toowoomba in the region of Darling Downs, QLD.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available.

**Remuneration and shift hours**:
The minimum wage (gross) is $978.00. Once assessed as competent at level required, the wages may increase to $1116.00 (plus shift penalty rates of approximately $245 / week).

Night Shift hours are approximately from 10pm to 6am (Monday to Friday) working 38.75 hours / week.

**Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:

- Operational control of render labouring functions, including control of Tallow Quality, Meat Meal and Blood cooking.
- Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs.
- Ensure you have a reliable vehicle to travel safely to and from work.
- Participate in a well-organized, friendly team environment (become a team player)

**About you**:

- Training is given to all new starters by Beef City’s own experienced employees.
- Forklift experience and ticket is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to drive trucks and tractors.
- You must have full working rights in Australia to be a successful applicant.
- Must have a professional work attitude and ability to work with limited supervision.
- To assist in protecting our work force, Q-Fever testing and vaccination programs are mandatory here at Beef City. Our on-site staff can assist with organizing your Q-Fever vaccination.
- Being reliable, having a good attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to work.
