**The Role**
Join a dynamic team as Principal Hydrologist/Lead Hydrologist, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the Water Resources and Hydrology industry. As an integral part of the Water Resources Leaders across multiple offices, you will drive technical excellence within the Australian and New Zealand Water Business line. You will also provide technical input to diverse projects spanning across various sectors, including water resources & dams, civil infrastructure, environment, energy, mining and community development

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide expertise in complex hydrological and water resources modelling and assessment for various projects, including drought planning, flood management, dam safety risk assessments/dam design, hydropower and renewable projects, yield and water supply studies, water allocation, hydrometry, environmental impact assessment, and climate change assessments
- Assist in the delivery of large-scale, complex projects across the region
- Take accountability for actively engaging with the industry and networking across the organization, including collaborating with leading water specialists in ANZ and globally
- Contribute to positioning and winning projects aligned with the ANZ Water strategy

**Key Criteria**
- Minimum of 10 years of Australian and/or New Zealand technical experience, preferably in a consulting environment
- Specialist working knowledge of the hydrology and water resources sector, including market conditions, clients, trends, and opportunities
- In-depth knowledge of State and Federal legislation and guidelines related to regulated dams, including ANCOLD guidelines
- Recent specialist experience with a combination of hydrology and water resource modelling packages such as RORB, SOURCE, XP-RAFTS, URBS, IQQM, MEDLI, GOLDSIM, etc.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Science or Engineering with an advanced focus on complex surface water hydrology
