Filler Operator

Alepat Taylor is a proud family owned bottling and caning company located in Preston. Operating since 1978, we specialise in manufacturing and the distribution of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

We are continuing to grow and expand and are seeking a team-oriented individual to take up the position of Fulltime Day Filler Operator with bottling experience to join our busy Production/Manufacturing Team.

**The role will involve**:

- reporting to the production manager and supervisors
- working on the filling line
- cleaning, changeovers, stoppages and 5S duties ensuring all filling machinery is running smoothly and that the line start up and end of run tasks are completed
- performing adjustments and changes to production equipment as required
- maintaining batch documentation
- following regulations and SOP's to GMP standards
- maintaining safety

**To be successful in this role you**_**must**_**have**:

- previous experience as a Filler Operator Food and/or Beverage Industry
- strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot on machines
- well developed organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- current fork lift licence is desired, but not essential
- experience in a GMP, FMCG environment
- HACCP knowledge

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
