**Role Description/Criteria**

Siena College is seeking to appoint a Clarinet Teacher for small group and private lessons. This casual position is for approximately 5 hours per week commencing as soon as possible in Term One. The preferred teaching day is Monday.

Working within the Siena College Music Department, the Clarinet Teacher will be part of a team of instrumental specialists.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate their ability to:

- Teach beginner and intermediate clarinet students through to VCE Music
- Develop students’ musical understanding through the study of repertoire
- Support the objectives of the College’s ensemble program
- Maintain effective communication and administrative practices

VIT Teacher Registration or a Working with Children Check and National Police check are required before commencing the position.
