**Summary of Job Description**:

- The IFTe manager is responsible for the coordination of the Know > Plan > Do framework that guides the operating rhythm of the In-Field Team members at AbbVie ANZ which in turn aims to elevate and evolve the In-Field Teams with tools, skills and behaviours that delivers an exceptional external customer experience.
- The IFTe Manager works in partnership with internal stakeholders to build current and future capabilities for In-Field Team members to meet their evolving needs.

**Major Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate the execution of the IFTe methodology through the Know, Plan, Do framework
- Communicate expectations and timelines for critical tasks in the Know, Plan, Do framework to internal stakeholders including BUMs, NSMs, commercial IFT members, CEX and BTS teams
- Observe execution of IFTe methodology elements via field visits and attendance at cycle meetings and conferences
- Maintain optimal communication between CEX, BTS, commercial In-Field teams, BUMs, NSMs and BUDs to inform operational effectiveness and capability building for IFTs
- Define, communicate, and maintain the operating rhythm of the commercial In-Field teams
- Liaise with Medical Excellence Manager to define, communicate and maintain the operating rhythm and capability building for the medical In-Field teams
- Review measures of success for In-Field teams and provide actionable insights and recommendations to relevant forums (IFT AMT, COLT, BUM/NSM forum, ILC, IFTe governance meetings) to drive effectiveness of the In-Field teams and their capability building
- Define and drive consistent standards of performance and behaviour for In-Field Team capabilities
- Share best practice with In-Field teams, and identify challenges in driving best practice
- Maintain the In-Field Team manuscript to guide the In-Field Teams to develop and execute their territory plans consistently across the business
- Design and embed IFT guide to performance and raise the bar on performance standards
- Run upskilling sessions for In-Field Teams based on learning needs and skills gaps

**Education/Experience Required**:

- Demonstrated success in the development, execution of performance strategies within the pharmaceutical and or biotechnology sectors
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Experience in project management
- Experience in sales force effectiveness is ideal
- Proven ability to work effectively in a Matrix Environment
- Sound knowledge and experience in leading change management initiatives
- Previous Sales, Sales manager, or Learning & Development experience desirable
- Ability to Identify actionable insights from multiple data sources
- Experience in digital business solutions to drive performance
