An exciting opportunity exists for a Copyright Officer to join our dynamic and collaborative team.
- From $127,609 to $134,775 (HEW 9) p.a. plus 17% super and annual leave loading
- Full-time, fixed-term role until December 2023
- Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the University Librarian, you will:
- Monitor, research, analyse and report or present on current and emerging issues in copyright and any other relevant legislation and regulation.
- Build relationships with, and provide expert advice to, key internal stakeholders on copyright legislation, emerging issues, and relevant policy.
- Design and deliver programs and initiatives aimed at increasing understanding of, and compliance with, copyright legislation and policies across the University.
About You
You will have excellent time management skills, and with a keen attention to detail your written and verbal communication skills are exemplary. Your great organisational skills will enable you to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
You will build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work in collaboration to achieve shared goals. You will deliver strong problem-solving abilities, be solution and strategic focused and maintain professionalism.

- Degree in information management or other relevant area, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in facilitation, negotiations, and managing professional relationships
