**MEMBERSHIP CONSULTANT**

The Ironfist Gym is seeking a confident and friendly individual to join our successful and thriving Muay Thai, Boxing & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gym.

We are looking for a Membership Consultant, who not only works in the role of Sales but also in Customer Service / Member Retention.

You will play a pivotal role in growing our Ironfist Community by providing personalised service and introducing new members to our Gym, by helping them integrate into our classes, and by supporting them during their early days.

Your ability to connect with people, and build genuine relationships, while sharing your love of Martial Arts, health & fitness, will translate to our new Students and help them feel a part of one of Australia's best Martial Arts Gyms.

We offer over 40 Classes per week in our 600m2 facility, located in Mansfield QLD.

We offer a full range of Classes catering to Beginners through to Professional Competitors. We pride ourselves in being so much more than a place to train, but a community too.

**About The Role**

As part of our Team, you will play a key role in growing The Ironfist Gym brand by providing personalised service when introducing new members to our premium Martial Arts Gym.

We are searching for a friendly and confident person, who will actively seek and generate new leads in innovative and creative ways, and who can genuinely connect and build rapport with people effortlessly and authentically.

We are not solely focussed on ‘sales targets’ only but wish to spend as much time with our new Members when they initially join as we do in the prospect phase to develop long-term Members with strong retention rates.

You will be a part of a fun, enjoyable and relaxed work environment. We are looking for someone to work collaboratively with to take our Gym to the next level of growth.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Promote our Classes and Membership options to prospective Members
- Help integrate new Members into our Community
- Implement and develop Member retention strategies
- Generate and manage new leads
- Consistently hit monthly growth targets
- Provide suggestions/input into Social Media content
- Be present in the Gym Monday to Thursday from 3.30 pm to approx. 8 pm, with some flexibility around hours for Fridays & Saturdays, and the balance of hours can be performed at home.

**Skills and experience**
- Minimum 1-year full-time Sales experience within a Gym environment a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to speak with potential clients with ease and confidence, helping to encourage them and alleviate worries and concerns without being pushy and forceful
- Must be a “People Person” who thrives on interacting with people, who has a drive and determination to see not only themselves succeed but the people around them
- Previous experience in Gym Sales Software or similar a must
- Understanding of Martial Arts, specifically Boxing, Muay Thai or BJJ an added advantage but not essential. A willingness to learn all aspects of our sport is a must

Competitive remuneration awaits our successful applicant, with a starting base salary of $60,000 plus a well-above-industry standard commissions package focused on Growth and superannuation.
