**The Team**

Daifuku Oceania is the Global Leader in material handling automation supply and support. Our team in Truganina has an opportunity available for a Mechanical Technician to become part of this great team environment. Our team is responsible for preventative maintenance on the material handling system and supportive services.

**Responsibilities will include,**
- Performing diagnostic tests on the material handling systems.
- Following the mechanical maintenance plans to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as perform the necessary repairs to restore to full functionality.
- Support the clearance of fault and materials jams.
- Utilise the maintenance schedule using our onsite Computerised Maintenance Management System (MEX).
- Complete accurate and timely administration and record keeping in support of Materials Handling System activities.
- Zero Injuries - Safety First Approach

**Your skills & experience**

Your qualifications and experience will include
- Mechanical Trade qualification related to role
- Prior experience working through preventative maintenance schedules.
- Knowledge of fault diagnostics systems, processes and repairs.
- Experience in mechanical drives, including gearboxes, conveyor belting.
- Experience in pneumatics and Hydraulics including Solenoid Valves, cylinders and flow regulators.
- Experience with PLC fault-finding or SCADA systems or Asibus is beneficial.
- Ability to work a rotating shift.
- Requirement for a current Australian driver's licence.
