**About the role**:
The Technology Vendor & Governance Specialist role is to support with the establishment of and manage technology vendor contracts to deliver outcomes that effectively meet Unitywater’s requirements, and ensure vendors comply with their contractual obligations. In addition, this role will provide all required oversight requirements to enable the ongoing operation and performance of the Technology function in delivering value to the business.

This is a permanent full-time position. Working from either office locations of Caboolture and or Maroochydore and will also have the flexibility to work from home.

- Substantial experience in managing external technology vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations including reporting of risks and managing performance, disputes and issues.
- Substantial experience of technology contracts including cloud based multi-sourced and outsourced services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience of managing vendor performance using tools including dashboards and scorecards.
- Experience of Technology Governance and Vendor Management Frameworks including reporting.
- Experience of using and managing contracts within the Queensland Government QITC framework.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively manage technology vendor and business relationships.
- Tertiary qualification in either Business, Law, Information Technology or related discipline.
