**About the role**
As a professional educator, a TAFE Teacher’s role is to help, construct, guide and enhance the learning process. You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience in Fitting and Machining. Your knowledge of your industry is diverse. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

**About You**
To be successful for this position you must:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitting and Machining Trade
- Have a minimum of three years relevant and current post qualification experience as a Fitter and Machinist
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher-level qualification in adult education or equivalent.
- Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles with a strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector
The following criteria are highly regarded (desirable):
- Certificate IV Fluid Power qualification or relevant experience
