About the Role
Through sharing the learnings and wisdom from the personal lived experience perspective:

- Partner with the team to develop, deliver and evaluate the Community Care Units' education and activities
- Assist consumers within Adult Mental Health Services, key service providers and non-government organisations to develop a better understanding of the recovery framework
- Inspire and support consumers through formalised peer support, practical assistance, tailored education, information and referrals to learn the skills and knowledge to build resilience for mental and physical healthcare needs and to engage in their community.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the Peer Workers within the Community Care Unit.
- Model personal recovery, self-awareness, self-belief, self-advocacy and hopefulness by sharing your own story of recovery to inspire and instil confidence in others.
