**Fixed term part time position (0.1 FTE) available for 2 year.**

Undertake facilitation of medical student teaching within PMHTU utilising simulation methodology.

Teaching will focus on advanced assessment and interview skills with a particular emphasis on social and emotional wellbeing of children and families

Social and emotional wellbeing of paediatric patients is enhanced when medical practitioners adopt a therapeutic approach to clinical conversations. Patients and families who feel listened to and understood by their doctors are supported to cope with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Registration with the AHPRA or equivalent in medicine, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing.
- Interest in medical education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and medical students.
- Clinical experience and competence in the practice of pediatric health.

This position requires a National Police Clearance check.
