Grays is seeking a highly motivated and capable individual to lead our warehouse team at our Richlands warehouse. This is a key position within the warehouse leadership team in QLD and an opportunity to really make your mark in a dynamic and team-focused environment.

*Please note that while we are currently based in Hamilton, we’ll be moving to Richlands in October.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Motivating, managing and developing a diverse team of individuals within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Participating in manager activities across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and engagement.
- Effectively managing the receiving and collection functions within the Richlands warehouse, prioritising employee engagement, sound commercial decision making and safety.
- Identifying and implementing improvements in the operation of the receiving team.
- Leading by example in terms of a positive team culture, work ethic, and health and safety.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Team leadership experience within a warehouse environment.
- A current forklift licence with operational experience (highly desirable).
- Hands on experience with receiving and cataloguing assets.
- Hands on experience with picking and dispatch functions.
- Hands on experience with inventory control and reporting.
- Sound understanding of industrial, commercial and consumer assets.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to make commercially sound decisions.
- Excellent ability to manage priorities within timeframes.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable day-to-day.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and willingness to proactively contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and experience using warehouse management systems.
- A positive, proactive and team focused attitude.
