**The Role**:
An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a bubbly enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist.

The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.

The successful applicant would be appointed as a part time or casual employee at our Carlisle location working up to 30 hours per week.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Greeting patients.
- Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
- Handling a busy switch board.
- Booking appointments and entering patient data.
- Generating invoices and receiving payments.
- Processing Medicare Claims.
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send.
- Maintaining doctor’s bookings and schedules.
- Being responsive to other team member requests.
- Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner.
- Other ad hoc administration as required.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Be able to multitask and priorities all times.
