Quitline Counsellor

Quit Tasmania is seeking to employ a full time Quitline Counsellor (1.0 FTE, fixed term), based in Sandy Bay, Hobart.
Our Quitline Counsellors provide evidence-based and culturally safe individualised counselling, information and advice to assist Tasmanians to stop smoking and/or vaping through telephone and other digital channels (eg, messaging, social media). Our Counsellors also refer clients to other health and community services as needs are identified.
This role helps promote Quitline to the Tasmanian community including people from diverse population groups and key stakeholders such as health professionals.
