An exciting opportunity has been presented for experienced Warehouse assistants to join our client in Cheltenham, Melbourne on a permanent full-time basis.

The Warehouse Assistant role is a crucial component of warehouse operations, essential to the continuous flow of the company's processes. As an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, your primary duties will revolve around preparing products for shipment, generating packing lists through Excel, performing biannual inventory checks, ensuring the precision of product management, handling tasks such as lifting boxes, wrapping pallets, and operating forklifts. You will also be responsible for receiving incoming deliveries and providing support in coordinating online courier dispatch.

Our client brings their signature fragrances to some of Australia's largest retailers, casinos, and hotels, creating a luxurious sensory experience. Boasting more than 25 years at the forefront of the industry, our client takes pride in their expertise in designing, producing, and introducing a wide range of scent diffusers to the market. Equally important to them is their commitment to fostering and developing their team to reach their utmost potential.

**Description**
- Preparing bottles for shipment by packaging them securely.
- Utilising Excel spreadsheets to generate packing lists.
- Carrying out a semi-annual inventory check.
- Handling the lifting of both incoming and outgoing boxes.
- Securing pallets for shipping through wrapping procedures.
- Operating a forklift for handling incoming and outgoing pallets.
- Unpacking deliveries upon arrival and recording them in the stock system.
- Offering support in dispatching goods through online courier platforms when necessary.

**Profile**

To be considered for this role you will have/ be:

- Experience in pharmaceuticals or cosmetics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and logical reasoning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Profound knowledge of safety protocols in the workplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Utilisation of various equipment, including a pallet stacker, computer, phone, photocopier, printer, and manual hand tools.
