**About the Team**
Sprayline Roads Services (SRS) is a branch in Network Operations Division in Transport Services Group within the Department of Transport, and is responsible for delivering road maintenance and construction services. SRS ensures that DoT remains an informed purchaser with commercial, operational and industry experience and knowledge, by operating in a commercial environment that maximises the financial, innovative, technological and reputational benefits for DoT and the Victorian community.
**About the Opportunity**
The role performs a variety of road and bridge routine inspection, maintenance and construction activities and respond to emergencies under general supervision. The incumbent will be required to perform manual labour
- intensive tasks in accordance with established safety, environmental and quality procedures.
**About You**
- Project Delivery - Executes work tasks (such as Roads, Roadside and Structures inspection, routine maintenance activities, operating various minor plant equipment safely) against Traffic Management Plans and in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - Seeks resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines (such as Worksite Traffic Management Plans)
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement - Contributes ideas toward improving the effectiveness of own work area; Understands and delivers against standards of quality and effectiveness applicable to own area of work
- Policy Design & Development - Understands the purpose of policies; Uses operational policies
