**Situated in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, this position is part of our Quality Assurance team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., committed to upholding outstanding contamination control standards.**:

**A day in the Life**:

- Develop and implement contamination control strategies for the site
- Coordinate Environmental Monitoring systems and drive improvements
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

**Keys to Success**:

- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record to drive compliance, project delivery and influencing cross functional improvements.
- Strong collaboration with quality control, production and engineering teams
- Active participation in the global organisation, contributing to and leveraging best practices across the network

**Education**:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
- An Advanced degree in Microbiology or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.

**Experience**:

- Extensive experience in microbiology and contamination control
- Proven track record in regulatory inspections
- Experience in biomanufacturing processes

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of contamination control requirements
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

**Physical Requirements / Work Environment**:
This role involves working in an office setting. Inspections of the manufacturing and laboratory environment are a requirement for this role. Occasional travel may be necessary for audits and inspections.
