Our Hunter New England Allied Health Assistant Traineeship is a great way to gain invaluable experience in Physiotherapy support and the health sector._

**About the job**:

- This traineeship offers you the chance to gain a recognised qualification in Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance with a reputable training organisation.
- You’ll work under the supervision of physiotherapists, assisting with patient one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas.
- You’ll receive support from the physiotherapy team, with dedicated time to complete your Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- You’ll have unique learning opportunities to explore Allied Health career paths within Hunter New England Health.
- Ideal for a recent school leaver looking to gain a valuable qualification in a health-related field.

Join a skilled team of Physiotherapists and support staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care. As part of the Hunter Valley Community Health Physiotherapy team, you’ll be embraced by a friendly, collaborative atmosphere working alongside both Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants across various sites. You’ll have supervision and support provided from the Physiotherapy team, who are very eager to help you learn and grow as a professional during your traineeship.
