**About Our Client**:
My client is an Australian based company, who have plans to expand operations internationally in the near future.

Having shown significant growth over the past 3 years, the company has become a key supplier within their sector, tackling a key challenge to Australian infrastructure and construction.

This position is a standalone Payroll Officer position, handling the end-to-end processing of 400 employees on a weekly and fortnightly payroll.

General responsibilities include:

- Data-entry of employee details from on boarding through to termination stage,
- Processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll using MYOB Advanced and Spreadsheets.
- Completing all PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, reporting and payroll reconciliation requirements.
- Assist with implementation of procedural improvements to suit business needs.
- Handle any compliance and reporting requirements related to Payroll.

**The Successful Applicant**:
In addition, other key requirements include:

- Current knowledge of relevant Payroll legislation.
- Understanding of Australian Tax and reporting requirements.
- Experience processing Payroll in a spreadsheets environment.
- Understanding of general HR processes or HR background highly regarded.
- Experience with Microsoft suite of products, including Excel.

This is an ongoing contract opportunity, with an hourly rate of $45/hour + Super (negotiable on experience) on offer.

The role is based in Ashgrove, and ability to go into the office in-person is required.
