**_OVERVIEW _**

**We are on the hunt for a Documentary Researcher who will work under direction of the Executive Producer and Series Producer in the preparation of research material for a WildBear history documentary series. The Researcher would conduct in depth research and be providing briefs and additional resources for writers and other members of the team. In addition they will be required to undertake research and provide advice to team members in relation to archival footage and other audiovisual material. The work may include primary research, as well as direct contact with experts and academics around the world.**

**The successful applicant will bring skills and industry experience from a similar role, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience, have a passion for history and archive based story telling, a collaborative approach to their work, and excellent oral and written communication skills.**

- **Film / TV Industry knowledge and experience, in particular experience with archive material is a plus.**:

- **Tertiary qualifications in history, media/communications or other relevant study.**:
