**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Safety Manager is responsible for leading and coaching the project team to deliver effective planning, leadership and assurance of WHS compliance. This role is critical to support the business in achieving excellent safety outcomes.
- Support the Project team, Subcontractors and supply chain to implement the RCC Safety Standards and systems.
- Provide coaching and guidance to ensure the project has a positive transparent reporting culture, identifying and investigating HPI’s and reporting up and to the project team.
- Provide ongoing information, feedback and data to the Project Director and site team on performance and compliance and support them to hold their teams accountable for WHS outcomes.
- Lead & deliver training of & support the implementation of RCC Safety Standards on the project. Ability to develop and facilitate training, workshops and innovative tools and processes

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated practical construction related safety management experience & knowledge, delivering large projects; built form (preferably), civil construction or infrastructure.
- WHS industry relevant qualifications and certificates; Diploma WHS, Lead Auditor, ICAM qualified.
- Build trust, operate with integrity operating as a conscience to drive safety of people as the no. 1 priority.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication and relationship building skills.
- Can-do positive attitude, drive and delivery mindset.
- Able to have challenging conversations as well as provide positive reinforcement & develop a positive culture around safety.
