- **Full Time - Term Contract - 1 July 2023 - 31 Dec 2023 (temporary 6 month contract)**

The **Women's & Children's Health Network** provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

**The **Opportunity**

In the role of** Strategic Workforce Planner** you will contribute to the development of a comprehensive WCHN workforce strategy for the Allied Health workforce in consultation with a range of key stakeholders. You will also contribute to workforce strategies by identifying service demands and the workforce required to meet such demands. You will be responsible for identifying suitable workforce strategies which take into account workforce benchmarking and modelling using approved workforce frameworks and tools, templates and design plans which supports both the current and new WCH.

**About You**

You will be sought out for your expertise in developing and reviewing workforce planning policies, operations, procedures, systems and processes. You will use your high level knowledge of workforce planning theories and implementation models and ability to think strategically about workforce issues and develop innovative strategies to achieve success. You will possess high level of interpersonal, leadership and personal management skills to build and sustain effective working relationships.
