**IKAD Engineering** is a proud Western Australian private company with a national and international footprint. We provide a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Water Technology.

**The Role**:
In this role your main duties are to fabricate, assemble, install and repair components of boats and ships.
- Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.
- Install masts, frames, decking, fittings, machines, shafts and safety equipment.
- Build and install structures such as cabins, machine mountings, propellor supports and rudders.
- Determine repair requirements and procedures.
- Weld and assemble components in accordance with work instructions, drawings and oral instructions.
- Read and interpret drawings to ensure client specifications are met.
- Responsible for the maintenance of IKAD and customer equipment in accordance with quality management system including but not limited to compressors, welder generators, mobile plant, tooling and vehicles.

**What you will bring to the Team**:

- Trade Qualification
- Relevant industry experience in a similar position.
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
- White Card.
- Able to undergo extensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
- Be able to work efficiently and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic with proven work history.
- Positive and proactive approach to safety.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Rigging and dogging, EWP and Forklift Tickets highly regarded.

- Annual salary of $75,00 - $90,000 depending on experience and tickets/ qualifications with overtime available.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
