Roseville, Australia The Cat Palace Full time

**HEY YOU. Yes, you. You just found your challenging feline-focussed job**

**Casual $29 - $32 ph (double time on Sunday shifts), 11 - 15 hours per week**

Where Cats Come First - this Cat Palace needs staff - a Customer service multi-tasker and well-presented team player who can handle some stress, work effectively without direct supervision and wants to get clued up about cats. If you are kind natured and keen to learn about, care for, educate and help our clients and their cats, and can combine this with a professional phone manner and front desk confidence talking to people, then you are the person we are looking for

This opportunity is for someone who prides themselves on being the professional face of a business and shows it with a nice big smile Who can learn fast and work hard.

You will gain a wealth of knowledge and skills, working closely with people and cats, and can progress through accomplishing all facets of compassionate and complete cat care - including grooming and holding cats if you want to learn those skills.

Dream job for the hard-working individual who is passionate about their performance in an assigned task.

Maturity preferred over experience, excellent written and spoken English required

Moderate level of fitness (you will walk quite a bit and carry up to 12 kgs)

Must be available to work Sundays and school holidays, on a stable roster (all staff need to be flexible as this is a small, but purr-fectly formed team but most have their standard shifts weekly).

Moderate computer skills essential (an easy-to-learn Mac system).

Full training is provided, with opportunities to expand your skills. Once these are mastered (which takes about 3 months), you will find that the routine, stability and predictability of working in this position, allows you to build relationships with clients and their feline friends. Job satisfaction comes from delighting these same people with the care you’ve taken looking after their cat.

The greatest challenges come from a variable workload (from really busy to really quiet), high client expectations, and lots of cat hair. Oh, and the boss is a stickler for accuracy and punctuality.

To succeed, you will need to be organised, active, work unsupervised, follow instructions and problem solve. A total superstar In return, the job will provide interesting things for you to learn and experience, a stable environment and a chance to work with great clients over a long time.
