**About the role**:
We are seeking genuine, enthusiastic, and caring Youth Workers who are dedicated to ensuring the safety and welfare of children and young adults is always protected. Your work will make a difference in the lives of young and vulnerable people.

At Felicity Holistic Care we take a person-centred approach when supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours. You will work with clients within their home and out in the Community, providing a one-on-one service. As a youth worker you will empower young people to develop independence and encourage them to participate in a range of day-to-day activities.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Empower and encourage at-risk children and young adults with complex behavioural concerns while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Provide individual life skills coaching in areas such as self-care, life skills, social issues etc.
- Provide one on one direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their care plan and as directed.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of the clients and report any concerns to supervisor.
- Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes in-line with legislative requirements.
- Work with client, family/carer, relevant case manager and other professional to support the client’s individual goals.
- Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication and participation in regular staff meetings.
- Participate in performance development meetings to identifying ongoing training and support opportunities.

**To be considered for this role, you MUST provide the following**:

- Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or a similar discipline).
- Experience working with young people would be ideal, but successful applicants may have transferable experience from a background working in mental health, aged care, disability care, and/or childcare.
- Satisfactory National Police Check (No more than three years old)
- Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Driver’s Licence & your own car
