**A little bit about the Division**

The Land Transport Infrastructure Division (LTID) plays a key role in managing the Australian Government’s $120 billion Infrastructure Investment Program (IIP). Our work connects, and enriches every Australian community, underpins our economy and society, and empowers our regions. We provide strategic policy advice and deliver programs, projects and infrastructure that touch the lives of every Australian through the reduction of road trauma and by improving travel times and freight connectivity. Our work has a high profile, with high levels of engagement with our Ministers, their offices and central agencies.

You will be joining the Division at an exciting time as the Australian Government repositions its approach to infrastructure investment. The Australian Government, in collaboration with the state and territories is embarking on a process of reform to support a more sustainable pipeline of investment and a productive construction sector.

The Division provides policy advice to Government and works closely with state and territory governments, and Infrastructure Australia, to support the delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects that drive productivity and social development. LTID is comprised of the following branches:

- Program Policy and Budget Branch;
- NSW, ACT Infrastructure Investment & Program Governance + Assurance;
- QLD/NT/WA Branch;
- VIC/TAS/SA Branch;
- Infrastructure Investment Reform Branch; and
- RPM Taskforce.

**The opportunity we have available**

There are multiple opportunities available across all LTID branches:

- The **Program Policy and Budget Branch** which has a broad scope of work that ranges from leading and developing investment strategy, providing policy advice, the preparation of Budget submissions and managing and reporting on the overall financial commitment to land transport infrastructure for the Australian Government, namely through the IIP. The branch liaises closely with our Ministers and their offices, Infrastructure Australia and a range of internal and external stakeholders. As the work in this branch is frequently intensive and politically sensitive, our staff needs to be primarily based in our Canberra office.
- The **Infrastructure Investment Reform **Branch **is responsible for implementing and operationalising the Australian Government’s reform agenda within the Land Transport Infrastructure space. This includes providing policy support and conducting research and analysis to provide informed advice to the Senior Executive and Ministers. The team is also responsible for coordinating streams of work being undertaken across the Department and other Australian Government agencies.
- The **NSW, ACT Infrastructure Investment & Program Governance + Assurance Branch** manages the financials, risk and delivery of projects in the IIP within New South Wales and the Australia Capital Territory, and advises the Australian Government on future priorities. The Program Governance & Assurance (PGA) section of the branch supports key program governance functions to ensure work aligns with a cohesive strategic direction, is informed by best-practice portfolio governance and oversight and provides assurance and risk functions to facilitate the delivery of the IIP.
- The **QLD/NT/WA Branch** manages the financials, risk and delivery of projects in the IIP within Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and advises the Australian Government on future priorities.
- The **VIC/TAS/SA Branch** manages the financials, risk and delivery of projects in the IIP within Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, and advises the Australian Government on future priorities.
- The **RPM Taskforce** is responsible for the implementation of the RPM system to replace the Infrastructure Management System (IMS). This includes the remediation of critical issues, obtaining business validation of the RPM solution and supporting the business transition to RPM.

**What will you do?**

This is a bulk recruitment round to support a variety of opportunities at the EL1 level across the division.
