**About the position**
The Anchorage has a variety of dining and food offering across the property, including The Gallery Kitchen, Moby’s Bar and Poolside Bar. The Gallery Kitchen was awarded Best Restaurant in a Hotel & Resort at the 2020 R&CA Savour Awards for Excellence.

The award-winning crew is casting a line out for an experienced Kitchen Hand. This casual opportunity is responsible and key to our back of house operations, duties will include:

- Cleaning of all crockery, cutlery and equipment
- Cleaning of work areas
- Assist with the set-up of service
- Sweep and clean floors
- Ensure appropriate disposal of waste
- Assist with basic food preparation

This position will require availability to work most Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts during the week. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during these times is essential.

**About you**
You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. You will have previous experience in a similar role, and basic food preparation and knife skills are desirable. Along with a good work ethic, you will be a team player who thrives in a fast paced work environment.
