Are you a skilled and motivated trade assistant with experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) or Forklifts? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Trade Assistants, supporting our Mechanical Fitter during a major mechanical installation project in Wetherill Park.

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Mechanical Fitter in executing a major mechanical installation project. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the transportation, lifting, and positioning of equipment using an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or Forklift.
- Collaborating with the Mechanical Fitter to ensure the smooth flow of the installation process.
- Conducting basic mechanical tasks, such as assembling components, tightening bolts, and connecting pipes.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Adhering to project timelines and following instructions from the Mechanical Fitters.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience as a trade assistant or similar role in a mechanical or industrial setting.
- Valid EWP or Forklift license with a proven track record of safe operation.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- A commitment to workplace safety protocols.

**Additional Information**:

- This position is a full-time role based in Wetherill Park, NSW.
- The project is expected to last 6 moths with additional work to follow
- Competitive remuneration will be offered based on experience and qualifications.

**Pay rates**:
$36 + pens and travel
