Would you love to kick start your career whilst completing a nationally recognised qualification?

Maxima, in partnership with the Mount Barker District Council, currently have
**four opportunities **for committed and motivated individuals to commence their professional office career.

These entry level positions will see you gaining a nationally recognised certificate with all study paid for, hands-on industry experience, and continuous mentoring from a dedicated Maxima Consultant. Upon completion you will have the skills and knowledge to embark on a successful future within any role.

Each opportunity is set within a different department and will see you undertaking a wide range of duties. Opportunities include:
**Information Technology Traineeship **
- **Certificate IV in Information Technology (24-months)**
Provide effective and efficient IT support and troubleshooting to all staff, install various hardware and software and assist with audio-visual setup.

**Library Services Traineeship - Certificate IV in Library and Information Services (24-months)**
Assist community members with various library services including borrows/returns, membership registration and online services. If successful, you will be required to work some late nights and the occasional Saturday.

**Customer Service Traineeship **
- **Certificate III in Business (18-months**)

Situated within the Customer Service team, provide a high level of customer service to the community and Council as well as contributing to the supportive team environment.

**Communications & Engagement Traineeship - Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications (24-months)**
Support the Communication and Engagement team with the creation and distribution of all marketing and communication activities, including social and print media.

**We’re looking for individuals who**:

- Are passionate about their local community
- Love learning new things with a positive attitude
- Are driven to produce high quality work
- Showcase initiative and problem-solving skills
- Have developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively

**Role Requirements**:

- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
