We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Brisbane team on a full time basis. This role requires a strong technical background in.NET, cloud technologies (AWS and Azure), and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- **Cloud Infrastructure**: Design, implement, and maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, automated deployment processes, and ensuring high availability.
- **DevOps and Automation**: Automate infrastructure tasks, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Octopus Deploy.
- **Monitoring and Alerting**: Develop and implement robust monitoring and alert systems using NewRelic and Seq to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- **Infrastructure as Code**: Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to streamline deployments and reduce errors.
- **Cloud Services and Databases**: Deploy and manage a range of services on AWS (ECS, Lambda) and Azure (Scale Sets), as well as RDS PostgreSQL and Azure MSSQL databases.
- Due to the nature of this role, after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call work may be required._

Our technologies:
- .NET 6 (and older versions in.NET Core and.NET Framework)

- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Terraform
- What you bring:
- 2 years’ experience in systems development and implementation (typically)
- Extensive experience crafting and building software using the latest delivery techniques
- Supervise technical architecture and lead effort to develop a technical roadmap
- A passion for great engineering practices, clean code and continuous improvement
- A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
- Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- An ability to drive agile methodologies and a test and learn culture
- A talent for building relationships with technical and non-technical partners while influencing product decisions
- A highly dedicated ethos and accountability for the work you’re delivering
- A collaborative mindset with curiosity and care
- A passion for agile practices (Scrum and/or Kanban) and the ability to adapt changes as they occur
- A passion for (or at least a keen interest in) live events
