**Orthopaedic Registrar | Less than 2 from Perth | Western Australia**

Challis Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Orthopaedic Registrar to join a professional and enthusiastic employer in WA.

Challis Recruitment have a registered inhouse migration agent and medical registration team that will assist with Visa and Registration.

**The Position**:
**What You Need to be Successful in the Role**:
You must be eligible for registration with APHRA.

You must have at least one previous year of Orthopaedic Registrar experience from Australia or a comparable country.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attending to patients in order of medical urgency.
- Taking history of full medical examinations of new admissions and arranging appropriate investigations and assisting with medical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and current clinical records ensuring documentation meets professional and legal standards
- Managing medical conditions according to acceptable clinical standards under supervision of consultants.
- Collaborating with other Medical, Nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate patient management and communication with family, outside medical practitioners, and/or community services concerning patient management.
- Promptly report vital consumer observations that are outside the normal range as per clinical guidelines
- Ensure an effective discharge from hospital or services that reflects the needs of the consumer

Hospital is a 143-bed hospital that functions as the regional resource centre for the South West region with all major specialties present on site including ICU and CCU/cath lab.
