**About the Role**:

- This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrument Technician to join a brand new and dynamic team. The role of Instrument Technician is to clean, disinfect, inspect, package, sterilize and store all reusable endoscopy instruments. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the working environment and associated endoscopy equipment; ensuring standard precautions are followed, whilst strictly implementing the recommended guidelines.

**About you**:

- Certificate IV in Health - Sterilisation Services (HLT47015), or equivalent
- Clinical practice and experience in cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation within an endoscopy environment
- Knowledge and experience in the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes is desirable.
- Effective and appropriate patterns of communication within a multidisciplinary team; accurate documentation pertaining to disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical instruments.
