Our client is a leading Australian private hospital group that operates and develops a growing portfolio of hospitals in key urban and regional markets.
The hospital where this role is based is a purpose-built day surgery specialising in Ophthalmology, Urology, Minor Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery, Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and an Infusion Service. The hospital includes excellent facilities including two operating theatres, three procedure rooms and recovery.
Central Sterilisation Store Department (CSSD) Technicians form a critical part of our team. We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician and Team Leader to work collaboratively with our client’s dynamic team, to ensure the effective operation of the hospital, and the outcome of an exceptional patient experience.
**About You**
We encourage CSSD Technicians with the following criteria to apply:
- Demonstrated passion for patients and healthcare
- Cert III in Sterilising Services
- Proven experience in CSSD roles
- Sound understanding and knowledge of surgical instrumentation
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise conflicting priorities
- High attention to detail and committed to excellence
