**The Team**

With market leading products, and a strong product pipeline being the hallmarks of this exciting and innovative business area, the Advanced Surgery division at Baxter is actively pursuing acquisitions and investing heavily to broaden its portfolio.

This territory has a strong history of achieving its targets and experienced sales professionals will be able to continue to maximise opportunity.

**What you will be doing**:
This role will provide you with the tools and leadership opportunities to develop and take your sales career to the next level. In this role you will be looked upon to provide leadership and support to the wider NSW team and establish relationships within theatre to support the effective use of Baxter’s Advanced Surgery products. In addition, your responsibilities would be:

- To deliver health economic data to procurement and key decision-makers in a hospital setting
- Carry out the duties of a regional sales manager as required including - team meetings, forecasting, support for product specialists and c-suite meetings
- To establish relationships and networks with all levels of clinical and management staff in accounts by offering excellent service, back-up and product knowledge, thus increasing growth of sales and profit.
- To accurately represent the features and benefits of the specific product specialist portfolio to customers and potential customers.
- Maintain profitability within the area of responsibility in consultation with sales and marketing personnel.
- Identify incremental business opportunities and develop strategies to gain any sales flowing from such opportunities.
- Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure that account ordering needs are implemented to the customer’s satisfaction.

**Please note this is a 12 months’ maximum term parental cover opportunity.**

**Do you have what it takes to build a career here?**

The ideal background will include experience in Neuro spine / Cardiothoracic / General Surgery in Medical devices sales or alternatively Pharmaceutical sales. You will have proven experience in the operating theatre environment and demonstrated success in driving sales within a highly competitive market. Previous clinical and leadership experience in addition to your sales success will be advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in the field of nursing, allied health, science or technology (eg. Health Science, Bioscience, Science or similar)
- Proven experience in key account management and relevant experience gained within an operating theatre environment dealing with surgeons and other key personnel.
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills
- Proven relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
- Current drivers’ licence
- Ability to work autonomously with a drive and determination to succeed
