QA Officer

Sun Engineering has been awarded the installation of a large scale automated racking system in Moorebank, Sydney, NSW, starting end of January 2023.

We are seeking an experienced QA Officer to join our team, preference will be given to locals of the Sydney region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shares accountability for performance of a team and ensures quality of tasks, services. advice and support to Functions/Operations in their own area of speciality.
- Interacts with business contacts in order to deliver the set output e.g. collecting data from third parties, working with contractors etc
- Ensures the latest revision quality records, checklist, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and any associated QC documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas is prepared and available for site personnel in accordance with project requirements
- Coordinate with the site Supervisors for the completion and validation of as-built turnover documentation
- Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation
- Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports
- Abides by the system in execution of daily tasks with a committed sense of accountability for outcomes
- Engages with teams to identify and analyse routine problems and make recommendations
