This purpose of this role is to support the operational leadership teams on site with the successful delivery of training initiatives. Ensure training strategies and development paths are being followed by Barminco employees and continuously improve onsite training and compliances.

**POSITION OBJECTIVES / KPI’S**
- Support the site leadership team in the effective implementation of Barminco safety management systems.
- Coordinate new starter arrivals to site including logistics from airport on arrival, camp, site familiarizations and introductions.
- Provide and facilitate on-site inductions ensuring all employees, contractors and client personnel (where required) are site compliant and competent to perform the required tasks/roles.
- Provide and facilitate on-site visitor inductions as required.
- Provide and facilitate underground tours for new starters and visitors in line with induction requirements.
- Be proactive in the field identifying hazards and risk with suggested mitigation controls in the workplace.
- Ensure entry level new starter program is adhered too and relevant documentations are completed, communicated, and stored for reference.
- Conduct scheduled workplace inspections, task observations, CCFV’s and Checkin’ s across various departments on site.
- Maintaining of training records, reports and documents required to meet corporate, site and regulatory requirements including training matriKes and LM5.
- Assist site operational teams to coordinate upskilling of operators working on site according to their individual professional development progression plans.
- Assist with review of, and update company and site procedures/safe work practices as necessary.
- Support UG Trainers with preparation of required documentation for trainìng and competency assessments as required.
- Facilitate and coordinate on site D&A and fitness for work testing (incl. records) as required by the site management team.
- Facilitate and coordinate hydration testing (incl. records) as required by the site management team.
- Complete compliance to role audits against primary roles in personnel model and secondary audits against shift sheet task allocations.
- Complete weekly and monthly statutory refuge chamber inspections, resolve any non-compliances and escalate where non-compliances are not able to be resolved.
- Facilitate and submit training course requests as directed by operational leaders and management.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years’ experience in Underground Mining — Essential
- Underground operational knowledge — Essential
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite - Essential

**EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING**
- Training and Assessing - Certificate IV
