Furniture Fitter/assembly

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Fitter / Assembly person in the Emu Plains area. We are a leading supplier in aged care & Health care furniture industry.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Opportunity for full time work with lots of overtime at a casual rate of $30.85p/h and a full time rate would be discussed after a trial period depending on skills and experience
- Varied interesting work in a clean workshop in Emu Plains
- Job involves prepping of timber for aged care and health care furniture
- Assembly of finished products
- Must be fit, reliable, enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team
- **Must be able to work from a drawing **with little supervision
- A trade qualification is not essential but definitely an advantage
- Must have basic PPE - steel cap boots
- **Monday to Friday with OT available**
**6am starts**_

**Skills and experience**
- Must have the ability to read drawings
- Work unsupervised and be able to problem solve
- Ability to read and speak English
- **Must have power drill experience**:

- **Must have previous furniture experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $30.85 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)
- hand and power tools: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
