We have a full-time position available for a technician to join our workshop in Tullamarine.

**About the Role**
- Service, maintain, and repair industrial equipment
- Analyse and solve mechanical issues
- Data analysis to assess the performance of machinery
- Document machine safety and maintenance
- Communicate with and support other engineering staff
- Liaise with customers regarding repair and maintenance requirements
- Prepare drawings and designs for mechanical engineering work
- Construct and install new and/or modified mechanical equipment, components, power systems, etc
- General workshop duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant and recent experience with industrial equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and techniques
- Must have a keen eye in detecting and diagnosing faults in mechanical equipment
- Ability to repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components
- Analytical ability to perform data analysis of systems and equipment
- Ability to manage competing priorities and have the capacity to manage own workload and prioritise tasks to achieve the level of service required
- Ability to meet timelines and deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and independently and in a team environment and be customer focused
- Must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and take pride in their work
- Compliance with OH&SE requirements on site and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies in the workplace

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
