Materials Planner

- Monday to Friday - 40 hour week
- 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
- Hybrid - 3 days in the office & 2 WFH

**The Client**:
The world’s largest independent designer and manufacturer of diesel engines.

**The Role**:
As Materials Planner your duties will encompass general transactional supply chain, scheduling and purchasing activities as well as supporting the After Market Planning team who are responsible for supplying upfit and after-market parts to branches and manufacturing locations within Australia and Asia Pacific.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Raising and executing Pos
- Submitting invoices for payment
- Review of demand signals for placement of orders
- Creation of manufacturing orders
- Reschedule of orders to ensure production meets customer expectation
- Expediting of Purchase Orders
- Allocation of available stock to manufacturing orders
- Verification of inbound stock dates and quantities
- Verification of system information to ensure supply of goods in a timely manner.
- Adhoc tasks as requested by management

You are a good communicator, have good time management skills, are a critical thinker, and are able to manage complexity. A basic understanding of supply chain functions and processes and /or experience in a Supply Chain, manufacturing environment or fitting environment will be highly regarded.

**Computer skills**:

- Movex (highly regarded)
- Microsoft suite experience a must
- Basic understanding of ERP systems functions
