**About the Opportunity**
ECH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Social Programs who will drive the design and delivery of initiatives that engage and provide social connection to cognitively impaired clients within the ECH community. The position will directly connect with our clients during the day programs and lead a small team in the delivery of these initiatives across the ECH network.
This role will encompass strategic and operational management responsibilities and as the Leader of a key social service, will demand strong digital and financial literacy.
**About You**
The successful applicant will demonstrate a working knowledge of dementia care and/or understanding of cognitive impairment within the aged-care or disability sectors. To support this, you will have evidenced comparable experience in the delivery of social programs and how to best deliver initiatives that enable our clients to get MORE out of life.
Ideally, you will have extensive experience in a Social Work setting or alternatively, a background in Occupational Therapy would also be considered. You will evidence a demonstrated ability to provide operational leadership and understand the nuances required to effectively engage and provide exceptional customer services to clients engaged in the ECH network, but living independently within the community.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Qualifications in Allied Health, Bachelor of Social Work
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Check
**Desirable**:
- Qualification in business management, health service management or similar
