Design and Build have proudly partnered with one of Queensland's largest civil contracting companies. We are looking for a Safety Advisor who will play a vital role in Civil Construction Projects across West Brisbane.

**POSITION**

As a Safety Advisor, you will have proven experience in delivering health and safety outcomes on urban civil construction projects across Southeast Queensland supporting the project and site management team. Reporting to the Project Manager you will ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day WHS policies and procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining, recommending and implementing continuous improvements of WHSE programs
- Establish collaborative and supportive relationships to achieve effective safety outcomes
- Guide teams, providing instruction and continuous feedback to employees on safe working procedures

**PERSON***

To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience as a safety Advisor with a certificate IV in OHS or its equivalent. You will be a well-organised individual with excellent communication skills.
- Certificate IV in OHS or its equivalent
- Previous experience in HSE and delivering health and safety outcomes on civil projects
- Knowledge of Government training polices and Indigenous Procurement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop good rapport with people at all levels
- Hold a current Drivers license with reliable transport
