**Our client**
Our client has a proud tradition of growing and marketing high quality poultry meat to the Australian market. A vacancy has arisen for a Hatchery Manager to manage their hatchery operation and to provide leadership to, and mentor the hatchery team. This position will equally appeal to an experienced Hatchery Manager or an Assistant Manager who is ready for the next step in their career.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the hatchery to achieve optimum productivity at mínimal cost.
- Provide leadership and guidance to hatchery supervisors
- Prepare and manage hatching schedules
- Meet and exceed the company’s sanitation and QA requirements
- Ensure effective maintenance programs of facilities and equipment

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years’ prior experience in hatchery management
- Prior experience in building and leading a team
- Highly developed communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
